Old rating - A gift from a friend who visited Hong Kong. A lovely Imperial IPA which hides it's 8.0 ABV very well. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1946

A hazed golden DIPA with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light treacle, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light treacle, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at at Taps.

Bottled. Lightly hazy pale golden, small head. Dank aroma of papaya and grass. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Papaya, grass and apricots. Solid, dense malt. Mild peppery finish with long, mild bitterness.

Bottle at THT January. Clear light golden with white head. Sweet malts, grapefruit, dank fruity hops, soft alcohol, sugary, soft orange. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Almost full bodied.

Lots of citrus and grapefruit. Pours orange (I think) from the bottle but no idea on head. Bittersweet and boozy end. Some bitter herbal type aroma. Bottle in HK airport.

Nice big citrus notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Citrus and light weedy notes with a juicy finish. Old school done well.

On tap at The Ale Project, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich piney and resinous hops, with gentle dankness. Flavour is dank, with oily resinous and piney hops galore, with just enough dry malt backbone. Beautiful hop profile here. This is an expertly done IIPA.
