Crispy Beer for Pizza has enough crust malt character to hold its own against an enhanced hop profile featuring herbaceous notes of thyme with just a hint of pine. Unfiltered and full flavored, our hopbacked pilsner’s finish will wipe your palate clean for your next bite of pie.
Italian pilsner is a modern style with origins in Northern Italy where it was concepted as German pilsner with an English hopping schedule. The style takes its cues from Italian cooking where simple, fresh ingredients create fantastic flavor. 35 IBU.

12 oz can purchased at Total Wine in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is clear golden with a well formed and lasting 2 inch white head. The head eventually falls leaving nice splotchy lace. The aroma is soft bread grain, floral, hay and a mild malt sweetness. The taste is floral, malt sweet, bread, cereal grain and a nice mineral to the back. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and the crisp mineral finish. Quite drinkable, nice one.

Can from Binny's. No date on the bottom of the can. Tastes old. Earthy, suppose it leans into that sea touched malt. Subtle, delicate mouthfeel. Unfortunately the aroma has gone a little stale, off, bringing the whole thing down.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear pale golden, small head. Spicy, grassy nose. Mid dry with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slender bread and mild spicy grass. Mid bitter finish.
