Bottle outside ’Frank’ camper at Shrewsbury Folk Festival over the weekend of 26,27,28 & 29th August 2011 not sure where I got this bottle but likely to have been ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon Pours amber touch of haze, the alcohol is a bit too pushy and something that I struggled a little with throughout. It was quite fruity and a bit heavy but again that was probably more alcohol than depth of flavour, bit tangy and warming, mmhh... not really that fussed on this. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer. Zero carbonation. Dry palate. Dry sweet malt. A little tangy with some mild spice. Just found this a bit too hard to get down.

Gravity cask at the Pig’s Ear. Pours hazy amber with a bubbly, white head. Somewhat fruity aroma with apples and mulled wine, alng with some holiday spices. Fairly sweet flavor with a heavy alcohol presence. (This version is a reported 7.2%.) Some berries, gingerbread, rubbing alcohol, nuts. Medium to full in body with soft carbonation. Warming finish, with bread, more spices, light earthy bitterness. Spices and booze linger. Eh, not too sure about this guy.
