Clear, dark. No head.
Rich chocolate, strong spirit and maybe a touch of grape-like character. Lots of oak here, with tons of rich cacao-like character. Dark chocolate, vanilla and well-masked alcohol.
Sweet, not too much so with most of the syrupiness gone. Tons of chocolate, strong oak and toasted oak remains, with decent attenuation. No booze noted. A nice change of pace from the currently all spicy bourbon-dominated BA landscape. I don't love Woodford Double Oak itself, but it lends a unique character when used in beer.
