Super sessionable with a grist is made up predominantly of lager malt and a touch of torrefied wheat in order to create an extra pale, straw-coloured hue and a delicate base for a harmonious layer of citrus and tropical fruit characteristics to sit on top. Showcasing a blend of sought-after New Zealand hops (Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Gem and Riwaka), Middle Earth makes for easy drinking, with gooseberry and a touch of passion fruit on the nose giving way to a crisp hit of grapefruit bitterness on the finish.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 April 2025) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, pineapple, passionfruit and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passionfruit, wheat crackers and a balanced floral/resiny bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing and hoppy. Nice one.

Clear and golden with a creamy white head and a soft fruity nose, a mix of citrus and white fleshy fruits. Smooth and creamy, has an oaty kind of feel too, with citrus bitterness smoothed out by juicy fruit and a dry finish

Bradford Beer Festival 2024. Sessionable clear blonde ale. Light citrus in both aroma and taste, caramels evident for me but as this was a beer festival ale my palate may have been influenced by a lot of the darker beers in the same glass before it.
