500ml can, thanks to Synny for sharing at a rating session with her, Lunde and Finn. Almost black in the glass, declining off-white head, scattered lacing. Inviting aromas of toffee and choco-caramel, carefully roasted. Well blended dark malt-forward taste highlighting chocolate malts, liquorice, and toffee. Lingering aftertaste with nicely roasted chocolate malts. Not overly sweet. Solid bodied. Good drinking in good company. (Tromsø, 14.10.2025).

Very dark brown with a small tan head. Chocolate, dark malts, molasses, a faint roast note, and noticeable but not overpowering sweetness. Full syrupy body. Solid but definitely lacking something along the way.

500ml can. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Caramel malty and roasty, slightly chocolately and minimally spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, toffee, some cocoa, coffee, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is roasty, slightly spicy and minimally chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty with some residual sweetness, minimally ashy smoky, notes of dark caramel, a touch of burnt caramel, some coffee, cocoa, toffee, a weak touch of liquorice, minimally ashy overtones, mild roasty bitterness; lingering finish with slow decrease of complexity, toffee with subtle sweetness and mild, roasty bitterness remain, well hidden alcohol.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy, still fairly efficacious carbonation.
Smooth, homogeneous, focussed, almost clean even in the subtle aspects (smokiness) - awesome.

Med-full body, med-light carbo. Med-high bitter, med-light sweet. Could use more maltiness, there is med cocoa and med-light deep roast, coffeeish. Med-light general fruitiness, dried fruits, prune. Med warmth, soft, pleasant. Overall a nice beer, not too complex, but tasty.

Can at PZ, with VŠ and PCh. Very dark brown body, off-white, fleeting tan head. Dried figs and light roast in the aroma. Lean, dry taste but bit creamty roast, tobacco, nutty light alcohol, fairly empty but warming. Yeah, as everyone here agreed, not great, not terrible...
