Clear, nearly black. Thick beige head. Roasted malt, chocolate aroma, licorice. Malty chocolate flavour, nice hoppy bitterness. Would have been better with less carbonation, but still pretty nice.

clear dark brown,s mooth light brown head, looks a bit sort of carbonated instead of natural, but still pretty nice. totally spilled over in the glass as i had not expected a big head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, burnt something, faint pepper-cookies, quite dry, quite nice aroma. flavor is roasted malts, cookie spices (not sweet) notes of chocolate and roast. could be interesting to blind taste (without even looking at the beer) with a guinness. taste is sort of the same, but this one of course not at all smooth.

Can. It pours a huge, collapsing dark beige head over a clear-looking reddish dark brown body. The aroma is roasted and burnt tending towards charcoal. Lightly sourish. The flavor is pretty burnt and one-tracked, with some chocolate. Dry and way too carbonated on the palate. Roasted and burnt finish with charcoal. A disappointing one, not very pleasant. 131214

Can 50 cl. Deep dark brown - close to black - with an orange hue and a beige head. Rather unpleasant butterscotch aroma dominating over the burned nuttiness. Medium body, some chocolate notes but pretty much everything is overpowered by off-flavours, diacetyl being the most prominent, but also cardboard and even a slight tartness. Not really good at all. 161013

50 cl. can. Dark amber colour with a small, creamy lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, chocolate and fruits. Bread. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a average to lively carbonation. Short, lightly roasted finish with cocoa. If the carbonation was a bit softer, this beer would actually be rather good. Not bad for a discount brewer and the moderate price tag.
