Pretty hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades pretty quickly and doesn't leave much on top of the twenty per cent opaque body. Aroma of light grass, a bit of perfume, some softer german and low alpha acid hops with a tiny bit of malt noticeable that shows mostly biscuity. Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp and grassy malt notes dominate with some light sweetness from the malts right behind along with a dash of caster sugar and some subdued lemons, but the biscuity malts and very low bittering hops are noticeable, especially at the end. Aftertaste is very crisp, barely noticeable throughout and quite watery, very drinkable and only showing a tiny bit of the flavours picked up earlier. Overall, a pretty easy-drinking lager with some crisp grassy and herbal, very perfumey notes that actually do show some light hop bitterness, but the biscuity malt notes are strongest without any real lager yeast flavours at all and no alcohol or sweetness pretty much throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased a few hours earlier at Total Wine in Altamonte Springs (Orlando), Florida on 01-January-2023 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Fayetteville, North Carolina on 01-January-2023.

16 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - Melbourne, FL. Pours a mostly clear pale gold color with a white head and very good retention. Lots of streaming bubbles. Decent lacing. Dough and light yeast aroma. Bready and light yeast flavor too. Tastes more like a golden ale than a Helles, IMHO. Either way, it's light bodied, clean and easy drinking. G.O.A.T.? No, but it's above average.

Can at home. Golden colored and big white head. Nose is faint Carmel and fruity yeast. Tastes of toast, hint of citrus, paper, caramel. Crisp palate. Clean finish. Nice lager.
