Ginger and nutmeg type vibe. I can see why this sat in my cellar for so long. The latter flavors are at least not too potent, though potent enough to put me off this one. Roast, caramel. Black pour with decent mocha head. Bitter sweet finish. Can.

Some cans at home. More of Christmas beer than expected. Lovely dark pour. Ginger, spices and chocolate on nose. Tastes of ginger, all spice, cardamom, chocolate, roast malt, earth. Smooth and creamy some spicybfinish. Interesting.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear very dark brown color with a tiny beige head and good retention. Great lacing. Molasses aroma. Molasses flavor dominates with a mild roast finish. It's smoother and less aggressive than most imperial porters. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. This is not my favorite style, but this is the best I've had for the style. The 10.1 ABV and 61 IBU are both very well hidden.

Can found at Wawa. This is a nice beer, but man is it gingery. It's fairly well balanced, a nice mildly roasted porter at base, ginger integrates well - but it depends really on just whether you like a lot of gingery flavors in your beer, and well, for me, it's OK on occasion but that's it.
Christmas something. Spiced rye cinnamon thing. Dry back. Mollasses and all. Bready. Thick. But also cinnamon od.
