Bottle. It pours a red color with an off white head. The aroma has cherry, blueberry and a little funk. The flavor is the same with massive blueberry and a little raspberry. Smooth. Really nice soft mouthfeel and good level of tartness. Fruity.

500 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. 2015 bottle. Hazy dark amber with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of Brett, raspberries, funk, red wine, some herbs as it warms up. Tastes of red wine, cheesy funk, some raspberries, light oak. Light body with a dry finish. Very low carbonation. Falls a bit short on the taste compared to the aroma. Pretty solid. A little fine tuning and this could be really nice.

Poured from a 2013 vintage bottle. Aroma is rather fruity with a moderately strong raspberry and lighter blackberry note. Some light acidity with a bit of lemon and other citrus. Medium light oak notes and tannins with some light red wine character. A hint of tropical fruit and barnyard funk. Pours a hazy, murky, reddish copper color with a small, fairly thin, slightly off white head that recedes to a thin film on the edges that lingers for a bit. Low lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light tartness with some light citrus notes. Medium light raspberry and blackberry notes, less than in the aroma. Some medium light oak notes with some grape skin must. Medium bitterness. Some medium oak and grape skin tannins in the finish that linger and are a bit astringent. Finishes very dry. Hints of barnyard funk. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation and finishes a bit watery. Medium astringency from the tannins and light alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice aroma but the flavor is not as good. The tannins are too astringent and the finish is flat and watery. Nice berry notes in the aroma but that have faded out of the flavor leaving more oak and red wine notes. Good balance of acidity though.
