Then this massive beer conditions in Evan Williams High-Rye Whiskey Barrels for 22 months. Eighteen blends chocolate and spice flavors with a depth of character worth celebrating. Bomber, 2024 vintage. Chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, earthy rye, vanilla, caramel, whiskey and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has very little retention and essentially no lacing. Starts with chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with earthy rye, whiskey and oak flavors. Fantastic imperial stout!

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex, with plenty of spicy rye whiskey barrels, medium roast, and a touch of smoky whiskey. Flavour is super rich, with plenty of whiskey barrels, spicy rye, and medium roast. Rather viscous but not sweet, finishing spicy and earthy. Excellent.

Dark brown, just a thin head. Great aroma, smokey, marmite, beef stock, good black pepper, this is an umami bomb. On the palate, soft, rich, umami galore, superb… medium bitterness, beautiful sugars, depth for days.

Nice American oak, some molasses, heavy, dark fruits. Taste is along the same lines, heavy, sweet, American oak, caramel. Very good!
