On tap at Board Room Folkestone. Dark brown beer lasting beige head. Some black ipa character on the aroma. Yes more roasted malt black ipa character in the mouth. Then a spicy rye malt finish. A good twist on the old black ipa recipe. I liked it.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard.
Reddish brown pour with a beige head. Nose is toffee apple, caramel, spot of bitter citrus. Taste is toffee, caramel latte, bitter citrus, some red fruits also in the mix. Roasty bittersweet doo dah.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours lightly hazed black-brown with a creamy, khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with decent roasted malt character, floral hops, burnt pine, orange peel, a nip of baking cocoa. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Ashy-citrusy finish, balanced piney-earthy bitterness. Hits all the right notes.
