Bottle shared with JMD at HNB. Foamy and uneven off-white head. Fine lacing. Aroma of noble pilsner hops and slightly caramelized malt. Malt in aftertaste. A lovely and well-balanced pilsner, with pronounced taste of malt, balanced with hops and bitterness. High quaffability!

Flaske fra Ovesens håndimport, på Holmens påskeaktivitetsdag: klar gylden med tett hvitt skum som varer. Edelhumlearoma og raffinert smak med blomstereng i beste mellomeuropeiske stil. Elegant balansert ettersmak. Nr.9 til å rate denne.

Draught at The Foundry, Johannesburg
Pale blond color. It’s a dry beer, with corn character. Bad.

(Bottle 34 cl) Pours a clear, deep golden with a small, white head. Lightly tart aroma and some floral accents. Medium body with a good malt feel and a distinct touch of aroma hops before a short, dry finish. The beer has an underlying tartness that is acceptable as of now, but I doubt it will be by expiry date July 08. However you do get the feeling of better raw materials in this one. 170508
