600 ml bottle, brought from Aarhus by my son Magnus. ABV is 9%. Clear deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong malty aroma, notes of caramel, sultanas and dark dried fruits. The flavour is not too sweet, surprisingly drinkable for something called a "barleywine". Malty with notes of caramel and raisins, noticeable hops in the finish. Not bad at all.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Orangeish amber colour with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight spicy and herbal notes along with mild ripe fruits. Flavour is sweet malts, some spices, mild alcohol, quite fruity and floral hoppiness as well as some ripe fruits and plum to it. A bit on the boozy side, but otherwise it’s a rather nice sipper.
