440 ml can, as Monkey Brew / Outer Range Nix Olympica DIPA, from Vinmonopolet Stavanger Tasta. ABV is 8%. Moderately hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Distinct aroma of peaches, also notes of mango and papaya. Moderately sweet flavour of said fruits, hints of oatmeal, moderate piney notes in the finish. Low bitterness.

Årets første sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden brakte meg på forunderlig vis til Melkebaren, hvor jeg måtte gå planken: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Karamell, appelsiner, hint av druer og aprikos. Flott maltkropp (sikkert pga Golden Promise) og saftig avslutning.

Can. Lightly hazy golden colored with a small white head. Lightly alcoholic aroma, mostly fruity though, with a light maltyness. Peach, pine cones. Full body, nice carbonation, semi-dry. Decent bitterness. Peach, pine cones and generic fruityness in the flavor. Light maltyness. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one. 250221

YG. Golden color with a white head. Aroma and flavor is tropical fruit, pine, grapefruit, fruit, peach. Easy drinkable beer.

440ml can, B#530, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A misty, warm golden body, under a steady white head leaving upper part lacing on the glass. Promising smell of citrus with a floral touch. Plenty of citrus to the taste buds with juicy malts beneath. Mid-sweet hop fruity tail. Okay, rather unvaried though. (Tromsø, 26.01.2025)
