The last of our Halloween Pie Thief lineup this year, coming at you with a fresh blend of our Pie Thief aged for up to 27 months. Starting with a base blend of 50% Weller bourbon aged, 25% Buffalo Trace aged, and 25% Wild Turkey Rye aged; all finished on our signature Pie Thief spice blend. Rich vanilla and cinnamon bark right up front on the nose. Rich bourbon caramel candy on the first sip with a familiar spice throughout. A modest spice though, to not overshine the hearty base of this beer as well as its barrel tones.

Panda thanks to Ibrew2or3: Poured a dark mahogany brown with a beige colored head. Aroma is boozy, bourbon, cinnamon, rich malts, underlying alcohol and sugars. Taste is cinnamon, boozy, rich malts, dark fruits, very warming to the tongue and cheeks.

Pint can pours with a murky mahogany colored body that supported a somewhat short lived dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up cinnamon dredged plum and date fruitiness followed by a sense of pie crust, vanilla and a bit of boozy barrel character. The taste delivers similar notes with cinnamon dusted sweet plum, fig and date followed closely by a thin layer of luscious vanilla and then a pie crust sensation. Into the finish the barrel treatment bubbles to the surface with soft sweet bourbon, a bit of whiskey and boozy heat to add a counter to the desert nature of this solid sipper.

Murkyish dark brown with a thin head. Sweet, sugary, clove. Lots of flavour. Sweet and mellow. Good solid brew. All the spice, all the gourd. I shouldn'οΏ½t like it but I do -that kind of beer.
