Cask from The Orange Tree, Chelmsford. Thinner than your average porter, but enjoyable nevertheless. Dark brown in colour, with toasted chocolate and hints of fruit/nut. Quite dry finish. Would recommend.

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a fine, beige head. Light dark toast aroma. Light sweet flavor with mellow roasted malts, faint minerals, vague cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly dry to finish with light cocoa and standard roasted malts. Decent. Very drinkable beer.
