Belgo-style Pale Ale

An approachable and unpretentious take on a distinctive style, generous in flavor and delightful to sip. An exuberant punch of Citra and Krush in the dry hop enlivens a crisp, traditional Belgian-style Pale Ale with sweet tangerine and apricot notes. Refreshingly original and compellingly off kilter.

Amber golden color. Apple cobbler with pineapple nose. Medium body with good malt backbone. A bit spicy hops. So much malt and decent

Pours hazy light gold into a shaker. Citrus and yeast aromas. Soft and thin with tropical fruit, coriander and yeast upfront turning to lemon citrus in the medium length finish.

On tap at Revolution. Clear copper with a white head. On the sweet side with hops, some funk, citrus and malt. Drinkable but a bit strange to be honest.

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is tropical, citrus, light overall. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, watery with citrus and faint Belgian spice. Light body. Not much going on, frankly.

Can from Mitsuya’s. Drank straight from the can. Great citrus aromas with a lovely stone fruit Belgian yeast character. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Flavors really match the nose. Very well balanced with some pineapple and pepper that come through towards the finish. Slightly sweet but overall well done.

7% can from CBB Seed. It pours a clear orange copper gold with a great fruity hop bouquet a soft belgian spice notes. Wonderfully soft mouthfeel with a round carbonation. The taste is bitter a bit metallic, spicy & fruity - a really well balanced BPA. Probably my favorite beer today.

Can thanks to Will. Pours a clear orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and bubblegum. Medium mouth, strong bubblegum, light pine, slight bitterness, good.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after work with only two days left until vacation! Appearance is a slightly clearish amber with a thin white head. Aroma is floral with light yeast notes and a light hop profile, delicate but nicely done. Taste is nice, balanced well, crisp but also lightly bitter. Well done.
