A smooth, continental style blonde beer with a story to tell. We first brewed it as a tribute to the American 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, who during 1943 in preparation for D-Day, were accommodated in Ramsbury and nearby villages. Currahee, the regimental motto, means stand alone and we hope that this ale too, with its smooth taste and citrus finish, does just that.

The ChrisO small midweek tasting. Clear pale gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Nice mild hops - tangerine citris and others. The pale malt is a little insipid, Light dry finish. The hops carry this one above mediocrity.

Pours clear yellow with a small head. Aroma of farmhouse, malts, grain, yeast and butter. Taste is malty and buttery with notes of yeast and farmhouse. Finish is sweetish and buttery. Decent, but quite unbalanced.

Bottle at Chriso - 25/09/12 thanks to Chris for this one. Clear pale yellow with a thin white head that soon dissipates. Citrus and lemon tones on the nose with light hop aroma. Caramel malts in the taste, hops, peach and a little citrus. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent enough.
