50cl bottle pours a clear, dark orange with some lacing, white head. Nose is bad, boozy, rubbery, oranges, curacao. Flavor is boozy, rum soaked raisins, oranges, nail polish, turpentine. Full bodied and boozy finish.

500ml bottle at the early December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a dark cola color, dark amber with some ruby notes. Aroma was just a little too hot. bourbon, vanilla, rum. Woody vanilla. Too much wood. Toffee, booze. Way too hot.

From a 50 cl bottle at a the December 2018 RB gathering. Pours a clear amber. Aromas are caramel and butterscotch. Flavors are sweet vanilla and caramel.

Draught @ Birch & Barley, Washington DC. Pours very dark amber with an offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, honey, dried fruit, raisins, wood, Rum, alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, rich malty, caramel, little honey, wood, light spice, rum, dried fruit, dates, raisin, alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Nice in a small pour as a after dinner drink. 250418
