Bottle from a trade with Gription79. Consumed on my birthday, the big "40". Pours hazy brownish red color with off white head. Aromas of tart cherries and oak. Tart cherry flavor with some woody notes. Mild sourness. Light to medium body with effervescent carbonation. Thanks Dallas

Big thanks to dcschiller for this, thanks Dave. It pours cherry colored amber with tan looking head. The aroma offers up cherry fruit notes, semi bright semi tart yeastiness, spices and herbally nuances. The taste is similar as cherry meat mixes with a sparkling water sensation that creates brighter than expected notes heading into saison like spiciness and some yeast. This is crisp and fresh tasting with a pleasingly forward cherry fruitiness. Great summertime beer here.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of arminjewell. JetsonFest II. Clear, a bit orangish, reddish appearance with a small white head. Smells like shit. Corny, pale macro, shitty fruity, nasty aroma. This smells like shit. Tangy, rancid cherry juice, corny, grainy, plastic, nasty fucking flavor. This is really rancid, horrible, horrible stuff. I have an extra bottle of this and I want to apologize to some unfortunate individual that will be receiving it in a trade in the near future. Sorry dude!

Pours ruby into a snifter. White head quickly disappears to nothing. Sour fruit aromas. Sharp with slightly tart cherry, but mostly tastes like sour water.

750 c&c from Brewforia. Pours rather rose with a creamy not quite white head. Aroma is slightly tart fruit. Med body more or less. Don’t know where the sour is, but there is some moderately tart cherry. They clearly need to rethink or reclassify this. It’s an ok drink, but sour? The brewers should try Liefmans Kriek Ongezoet op Vat to get an idea about sour. Does finish a little dry and astringent. Harmless, except to the wallet.

Bottle marked as bottled on 3/29/2012. Pours with a crystal clear pink hued body with a large and lasting white-pink colored head. Aromas are lightly of sulfur when cold, some mineral qualities. As it warms, a very light funk, large cherry aromas, medium esters, dried fruit and a bit of a peach like ester. Flavors are mildly tart, a bit of wet dog, sweet cherries, pie cherries, bready malt, some caramel. Mild lactic acid. Tangy sweet and sour dichotomy. Medium tartness, light cherry tannin. Lively bubbles with a medium to thin body with some carbonation. Oddly syrupy texture on the tongue at times. Pretty lifeless to be honest. Towards the end of the bottle I tried blending it with a earthier/funkier Pinot and that seemed to improve the character. Not entirely sure exactly what Uinta was aiming for with this one.

Bottle. Hazy pinkish red color, large fluffy pink head that settles quickly. Aroma is subtle and understated cherries, lemons, strawberries. Taste is softly sour lemon, strawberry, cherry. Straightforward. Not bad.

750 ml bottle thanks to Craig. Seemingly quite an interesting beer, the label is odd but quirky in a cool way, the idea of a Unita sour is awesome. Pours a murky red color with a small white head. The aroma is big sour cherries and wood. The flavor is nice but very mellow and dominated by cherries, some sweetness but more sour cherry and wood, light sawdust and suggestions of vinegar. Interesting and certainly good, but more mellow than one might expect. I wonder about the yeast profile.
