Draft at the Longueville hotel, Lane Cove. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light, creamy, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours gold with a large fading white head. Nose does grainy malt, soft lemon and spicy hops.Flavours include delicate bready malt, spicy and grassy hops. Quite clean.Carbonation seems a bit aggressive.

(Tap) Clear pale amber with small white head. Slightly grainy aroma. Light body with good carbonation. Pleasant light malty sweetness. Refreshing, easy drinking, not very interesting.

Schooner on tap at Commercial Hotel, Redbank. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin white head. Medium carbonation. Sharp grainy nose. Malty taste, sweet finish. Very easy drinking, finish is not as dry as you would expect in a 'Japanese' lager. Nice alternative to the usual suspects.
