Southern Highlands appears to have merged with Powder Monkey. Can. Pretty much black with ~cm of beige head. Aroma is roasty with some stewed fruit and singed sugars. So it tastes - a fair bit of caught caramel & chocolate but it's really not sweet. Solid drop.

(Can) Pours black with tiny tan head. Great aroma of chocolate, coffee, roast grain. Medium body with excellent fine bright carbonation. Good taste - dark roast malt with smokey, chocolate, dark toffee and coffee notes. Hint of raisins at the start. Very drinkable.

Pint on tap at Taphouse. Dark brown beer with a thin white head. Nose is sweet cocoa with a little fruit. Good lacing. Medium body, slight zing. Taste is lightly bitter with a slightly dry finish, notes of chocolate and cocoa. As it warms, liquorice and fruit emerge. Very good porter. Not a style I like but this is good.
