Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton on 6th November 2013. Dark copper with yellowy white shallow foam. Biscuit malt aroma. Deliciously nutty in-mouth with hazelnut and peanut discernable. Malty and nutty finish, not overly sweet. Lightly zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England. [ As Southdowns Ruskins Ram ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120505]

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Copper colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some wood and mild nectary notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, nutty, floral and also a bit resiny notes.
