Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, toffee, dried fruits, raisin and plums. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long sweet fruity and slightly cocoa and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Sample at Ale Alpharetta. Pours dark orange, with a small, beige head. The aroma is butterscotch, oak, butter toffee, vanilla, and some grapefruit. Very sweet, with a good bitterness coming forward in the finish. Heavy body, thick, and a little clingy. Overall, this is a nice, malt-bomb of a barley wine. The hops balance it nicely, but are not prominent in the nose or flavor.

Hazy deep red - amber beer, short cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and very slightly viscous. Mild fine carbonation keeps it lively. Smooth creamy malt, sweet cream here. Toffee cream as well. Light spice and dried fruits. Smooth finish. Rich.and tasty malt led beer.

Even if it rested for 3 months, it pours a cloudy amber-brown color, with small head; apparently viscous. Aroma of caramel, fudge, with a fruity vein; a bit nutty (that is more American than British). Strong body, round mouthfeel; caramel and toffee flavor, sweet but not syrupy; it has a medium expected bitterness, with some hop resins and some sweet oranges fruitiness.
Good but modest.

Clear light amber small white head. Aroma is quite nutty caramelly mild woody liqueur like note. Flavor is malty bitter nutty slightly boozy liqeurush sweet wood bitterness good combo of bitter and fruit sugar

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a creamy yellow/white head. Aroma is treacle with some brown sugar. Full bodied. Flavor is treacle, brown sugar and suggestions of something like date/fig. Heat is here, but it’s not out of hand. Finishing pretty much as it started. Heavy duty reading accompaniment. Very tasty. Seems to imitate wood in the finish.

Sample from 650 ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour with golden hues. Sweet aroma with toasted caramel malts, vanilla, dark, dried fruits, citrus hops and wood. A hint of alcohol. Sweet taste. Full body, oily texture. Long lasting sweet finish. Very nice BW.
