Half Acre and 3 Floyds teamed up again to churn out the heavy venom. Anicca India Pale Ale is forged on the alter of Mosaic hops. Far flung exotic notes of tropical fruit and electric pine squat on shoulders of chewy grain. With some semblance of balance, the mighty Mosaic pounds its chest above all. In the end, this is raw, unmodified fire water rumbling the furthest reaches of your inner caves.
Anicca suggests that your maker could curl around you at any moment, so drain every drop while evading certain doom.

A tame IPA with decent flavor but no lasting impression bitterness-wise.

Can't find the Floyds version on here. Anyway, a very kind sample, glad I didn't have to pay for a full glass of old IPA.

Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, caramely malts, sweetish notes. Taste is fruity and hoppy with some citrus, caramel and malts. Finish is hoppy and fruity with some malty notes. Nice, but doesn’t feel super fresh. Still tasty, though.

$3 taster at Half Acre’s tap room. Dark brown color, a bit hazy, with a thin head. Big buttload of what I thought were Amarillo hops, more fool me. Piney in the main, but allowing some tropical fruit to to appear too. In fact, with the malt added in, the big hop comes in almost like a fruity candy. Yes, very sweet, and too rich.
