On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - chestnut with red chinks and a nice head. Nose - delicate fruit and sweet brown malt. Taste - again definitely delicate but this time it’s chocolate orange with a biscuit note too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that is good if slightly astringent. Overall - nice though i remember the bottle version having more pronounced notes.

Cask by handpump, half shared with Finn at NWAF. Clear, ruby brown body. Spotty lacing. Smell of fruity malts. Flavoured with bread-like malts mixed with dark fruits. Dark bitter ending. Good Brit bitter (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Dark brown with a small head. Has a small but sweet aroma and a subtle flavour with hints of caramel. A crisp session ale.
