Had a taster of this in Colston Yard and then a half on tap at The Grain Barge, Bristol, Saturday 23rd April 2016 before we were off to see Explosions in the Sky at The Colston Hall. Reddy amber coloured beer with an off-white head. Fruity but also with a good maltiness throughout, fruitiness is a streaky citrus vein. Nice enough. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Flavour is composed of fudge, toffee, malts, unrefined sugars. Light apple. Light burnt sugars. Palate is medium. Sweet, moderate carbonation. Little astringent. OK. .

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 25/05/2013. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of orange blossom and rich tea biscuits. Flavour had sweetish malts, some citrus fruits and decent, bitter finish. A good English beer.
