Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some floral hop. Drinkable enough golden ale. Not much bitterness, but the rose floralness is quite attractive.

330ml bottle into glass. Big nose full of floral peppermint. Pale yellow with light carbonation. One finger lasting head. Sour chalky mouthfeel, a little unexpected considering the nose. Zingy finish that keeps on giving. There’s a lot going on here, lemon, pepper, cloves, cheese, mango. Complex and fun.

(Bottle) Clear straw, transient small loose white head. Nice bold aroma - pine, citrus, pineapple. Light body, quite fizzy. Taste is a bit thin and watery, but pleasant enough - there’s a tangy start over some light biscuity malt. What little there is thins out further in the mid palate, but there is some recovery with some bitterness developing in the finish, although it’s a bit harsh. Easy drinking, but not very good.

Pours gold with a lazy head.Nose shows lychee, soft sweet malt, grassy hops and passion-fruit. Pretty tempting.More grassy and tropical fruit-like hops as flavours along with some slightly grainy malt. Smashable stuff.Carbonation feels a little aggressive.
