Dimpled mug at the source. First day in town. 4.6%
Frothy but quickly disappating.
Savory-lite nose, Cheerios & salty ham-laced pea soup.
Honey malt, light but constant white campfire smoke, no meat, very high acid that might be the house flavor, saltines, itchy finish.
Carb falls fast & uncovers a tiny bit of diactyl.
Still pretty good.

On tap at Lagerhead Festival. Aroma and flavor packed with campfire—lots of smoke.

Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Four Generals. Clean and bright golden appearance. Thin fizz head, active carb. A touch of smoke and wood on the aroma. Pretty subtle. Light brew indications. Very gentle smoke in this lighter helles. No expert on the style by any means, but I feel like they did an excellent job on the level of smoke provided here. It drinks super smooth and easy. Refreshing, and the touch of smoke keeps it going down. I am a big fan of this beer. Excellent execution.
