330ml bottle. Clear, redd-ish, dark copper colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, sugary-fruity aroma, notes of honey, apricot jam. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy and fruity, hints of apricot jam, a minimally tart-ish, fruit acidic touch. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft carbonation. Nice fruitiness, slightly mismatching hop bitterness - OK.

Maru Bräu Babylonisch, Fläschchen von Getränkefeinkost, MD-Stadtfeld. - Gebraut nach dem 1. Reinheitsgebot der Menschheitsgeschichte von 1762 v.Chr. unter König Hammurapi, u.a. mit Fruchtmus. - Rotgold, schwach trüb. - In der Nase marmeladensüß-fruchtige Aromen, Datteln und Aprikosenkonfitüre vor matter, blasser Herbe, wenig bierähnlich. - Antrunk weich süßlich toastmalzig mit Aprikosenkonfitüre und Datteln, ausgesprochen marmeladig-fruchtig, nur mild herbale Herbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, wenig vollmundig; die 6,2 % sind nicht zu schmecken. Im Abgang leere krautige Herbe. Schwach ranziger Nachtrunk. - Von angeblich nach historischen Rezepten gebrauten Bieren halte ich ja wenig, und dieses Gebräu bestätigt nur meine Skepsis. Noch trinkbar aber ziemlich fragwürdig. 15-04-19 // at Schlossplatzbrauerei Coepenick 50ml taster at the brewpub. clear golden. A very sweet fruitish note.

Draught @ Schlossplatzbrauerei Coepenick, Gruenstrasse, Koepenick, Berlin Germany 125 55.Unclear - hazy matt medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugary, thin brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sugary, sweet malt, caramel, artificial sugar, toffe, CH says blackcurrant - bojsenbær. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121220]

Tap @ Brewpub. Pours unclear golden with a white head. Mango, marmelade and sweet sugar. Thin and cloying. Filth.

On tap at teh site in October. Cloudy to muddy brown with a lasting off-white head. Bready malt aroma with fruity and herbal notes. Sweet and fruity flavour with some sugar flavour. Myrtle-like herbal notes and a mild bitterness. Also some cinnamon and nutmeg.

Draught. Murky reddish brown colour with a short lived head. Aroma of spice, orange and bread. Flavour is spicy fruit with a sweet fizzy finish. No bitterness
