Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dusty, alcohol - bourbon. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, barrel, bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130315]

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with woody hints. Roasted malty woody chocolate flavor with hints of vanilla. Has a roasted malty woody bourbon chocolate finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malty. Bitter, toffee, chocolate and light liqourice. Bitter and lingering chocolate and light bourbon finish. Smooth.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of thgr81_us. Pours an opaque pitch black with a small light brown head. Thick roasty nose with a whiff of sweet Bourbon. Rich body, lowish carbonation, coffee and roast accents, sweet vanillaish Bourbon with a warming alcohol finish. Delicious. 150313

Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours pitch black with a frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, whisky, tart notes, wood and caramel. Tastes of roasted malts, berries, chocolate and whisku. Medium bodied.

2011 bottle with black wax thanks to GRG1313. Pours with a deep black body with a lasting tan head and some alcohol legs. Aromas are of chocolate, a bit of rubber, caramel, bready and oak. Flavors are roasty, chocolate, lots of tannins, bitter, oak, wood, vanillin. Softer carbonation, creamy and warming.

22oz bottle pours an oily, opaque black with one ring of tan head. Nose has some nice chocolate, sour mash whiskey, light coconut, malty, a little maple, some light soy, nuts. Flavor is malty, a little smoke, some light coconut, chocolate, brown sugar, a little cupcake icing. Full bodied, woody, smokey finish. Very well balanced.
