Mostly hazy golden coloured body with a very nice, beautiful off-white and deep tan microfoamed head that caps the beer at around six centimetres in height above the 80 per cent opaque golden body - nice! Aroma of strong grass, pine, resin, citrus, floral and especially perfumey hops dominate with a lot of alpha acids and a good deal of noticeable alcohol and rich malts as well, but this really is all about the hops - in a great way, in the nose, at least. Medium-bodied; Rich grassy and very resinous hop notes dominate with a good deal of malts to support, but the pungency and bitterness from the hops is great and while there is some subdued sweetness here, the bitterness is assertive in a great way. Aftertaste, a very nice bitterness from the hops with some resin, pine, flowers and perfume along with a good balance of malts and a good kick of both sugars and alcohol towards the end, but this really is all about the hops, in a great way. Overall, the balance of this is amazing with a ton of hops and alpha acid bitterness, but the malt more than holds with the hops and along with a good deal of sugars and noticeable alcohol makes this beer very fitting and great for the style. This was perhaps a bit better than I was expecting, but a great beer that is well worth trying to find, especially if you like Imperial IPAs, but I found this easily! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Kroger in Detroit (Utica, 23 Mild Road), Michigan on 18-April-2023 for US$10,99/six pack sampled in my hotel room here in Utica, Michigan on 18-April-2023.

12 oz can, canned 04-Oct-22. Pours a fully hazy, murky yellow with a white head. Bright citrus and pineapple aroma touching on pine. Flavor mixes soft, juicy citrus and tropical flavors (orange, grapefruit, pineapple) with notes of pine and toasty malt. A pretty nice one.
