500 mL bottle picked up likely one year ago, to the day, per the recommendation of the Green Bench staff. Solid pick! Though reading the label of this beer made it a no brainer. What a fun beer this is. Dark brown pour, with a quick fizzing cola head. Big tart, dark fruit aroma, with an obvious bourbon presence. Big pucker up front. Sour dark fruit, tough to say if it’s specific to blueberry or blackberry over the bourbon blended in, but I can believe either one. Blueberry more so, I’d say, and up front. Lingering bourbon and blueberry constant. A solid, unique offering here. One of the last bottles remaining from my memorable trip to Florida, and this one was one of the best of the many.
