Bottle 330ml. @ [ (Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting) by Chriso - London ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to heavy pine, orange - hoppy, citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130331]

Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Craig. Light black with a good sized tan head. Nose carries tropical fruit notes, grapefruit, sugars. Taste comprises tropical fruits, light chocolate, hops, touch of pine, dark sugars. Medium bodied with bite, dry bitter finish. Decent.

Tasting at ChrisO’s. Hazy dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Light crispy palate. Smooth fruit salad hops with a bitterish pine. Light dry finish with a medium bitter linger.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an opaque deep dark brown with a creamy and lacing beige head. Roasty nose with some greasy hops. Medium body, solid roast, quite some licorice and a coffee twist. Roasty rather than hoppy bitterness. 050413

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Almost black with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 050413

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, hops, flowers, chocolate, grain, coffee and notes of citrus.

Bottle at a Chriso tasting, London. Pours rich brown with a strong, beige foam head. Dark malt, light tar, pine. Medium sweet flavor, cocoa, earth, pine. Light tang, some rubber and charred malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sticky finish, more rubber, tar, baking cocoa. So so.

Bottle @ Chriso. Pours a dark brown black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty hoppy aroma with weak hints of licorice. Fruity roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter finish.
