Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nod to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: pale orange color with a quickly dieing head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: grapefruit, pineapple and some danky/oniony sweetness; then some citrusy hops; light malts further underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes mostly through the pineapple and sweet oniony tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness; some hops lay down some bitter harshness to the tongue
Overall: nice enough IPA that I think I can see is "West coast"-like.

A pillowy white head, well laced. Slightly murky deep straw body. The taste definitely has juicy hop punch. Tropical fruit including kiwi, a touch of citrus rind, pineapple and peaches are all fresh and engaging. The malt is sweet and smooth with a touch of honey. Nice density and slightly slick. Top notch

Can from 504 Craft Beer Reserve, New Orleans. Fruity hop aroma with tropical fruits, pine, citrus, grass, bit dank hops, pale malt is there as well, grapefruit, touch of pineapple. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nicely balanced IIPA, pine with lots of tropical fruits and grass. Good!

Can, can't find a date. Misty gold with a cm of white head. Aroma of boiled oranges, pine, light biscuit. Simple but adequate light bread and biscuit below quite mellow orange and pine. Moderate bitterness. Doesn't offer much sparkle for 8% but pleasant enough.

Hazy gold pour. Very fruity smell flavor with lots of citrus and malt. The flavor has some hops bitterness but it’s also sweeter than expected. Some resin. Juicy. Medium bodied. With the unfiltered appearance and sweetness I figured they were going for a hazy iipa, but I guess not? Maybe my can wasn’t fresh enough and the hops faded somewhat. Anyway, it’s quite good but would likely be better with more hops bitterness.
