Bomber at BD Sheps B. It pours clear oranger-amber with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, tangerine, nectarine, big flapjack character and toasted oats. The taste is bitter-sweet, tangerine peel, orange, raisin, light golden syrup, candied citrus peel, light toast, pepper and light alcohol with a bitter, somewhat citric finish. Good depth to it and rather well balanced. Fun and interesting.

22 oz. bottle. Oliver’s beverage Center, Albany, NY. Cloudy amber color, no head in the tulip glass. Interesting nose of raisins, caramel, dates, and maybe plum. Flavor is a reflection of the fruit with light hints of grapefruit and a light pine hop for mild bitterness. The oat isn’t real noticeable yet still a nice medium body. Slight linger hop bitterness. Solid.

Draft - Grains, syrup and black tea. Cloudy gold with tiny head. Grassy hops and again the syrup and raisin come across as black tea to me. A little astringent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Apex, pours a hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild honey and pungent skunky herbal hops that dominate. Flavour is very bizarre, with treacle notes, herbally hops and some mild honey notes. Actually a lot more pronounced on the hops than anything else. One of the better Apocalypse Series beers, even though I've no idea what this was supposed to be. Good stuff.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tart and bitter with strong perfumey and floral hops. The flavor was tart and dry with tons of perfume followed by floral and herbal hops then back to full bore perfume again. No malty presence at all. Very long dry and tart perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Ok.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours amber with a slight haze with a creamy, off-white head. Very citrusy hop aroma with some astringency. Medium body, an initial sweet fruitiness with a solid dose of somewhat astringent hops. Interesting but a little rough. 230213

Bottle from Community Food Co-op - N Forest St, Bellingham, WA
Hazy light amber color; medium sized head. Pungent hop aroma (Nelson Sauvin - like), fruity, some passion fruit and other citrus fruits, lime, pungent animal character too. Lean mouthfeel; it has good caramel and toffee flavor, with very strong bitterness and fruity/pungent hop character; long final, with a biscuity character. Can’t get the treacle, but this is a modern Golden Ale, excellent.
