Pours brown from the bottle with a frothy tan head. Aroma of clove, with hints of mixed fruits and toffee. Taste is bready, dusty, sweet, with a lingering cinnamon at the end. Body is to the light side of medium, carbonation prickly. Not bad.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty, distinctively cinnamon- and clove-spicy aroma with mildly dark malty notes and shades of citrus zests. Moderately sweet and delicately tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly dark malt character with loads of spicy and lighter zesty notes, also traces of caramel; moderately sweet and slim, but also spice-laden finish. 100% not my cup of tea. 22.VI.17
