Cloudy peach with a medium sized foamy head. Lightly bitter with fruity hops followed by strong blueberry and vanilla. Long finish. Medium body.

Cloudy, pure straw coloured golden body with a relatively thin, single to two centimetre tall off-white head that fades pretty quickly, but the body provides a nice glow and is almost fully opaque. Medium-bodied; Rich, lactose and creamy malts show at first with a lot of body, all with a crisp and slightly soured/tart blueberry flavour that hits up front, but the moderate malts and wheat are noticeable right afterwards and provides a clean balance to the rich fruits, while the hops that aren't bitter or pungent do show through, finally, near the end. Aftertaste shows the good balance between soured and tart fruits (perhaps blueberries?) with the light hops and pungent, rich lactose and malts, which are by far the strongest in this 'ipa'. Overall, a nice enough beer that is more of a fruit beer than anything else, surely more than any 'ipa' type, with some mild hops, but more malt, sugars and fruits than the hops, of course. Nice to sample, but not really worth trying to find, even if you are into the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Woodbridge, Virginia on 22-December-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack), with a 'best by' date of 18-March-2022, and sampled on the streets of Charleston, South Carolina with my family on 28-December-2021.

Orange aroma with blueberry overtones. Cloudy amber, thin head. Blood orange, blueberry. Medium body, moderate carbonation. A touch artificial.
