Leeds brew better than they play is consensus here. Grainy, sweetish, barley, sugary

Cask-conditioned at the Punchbowl (JDW), York, March 2020. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head. A touch of citrus hop and fruit, light malts, leading to a dryish finish. Fine.

Cask at the Wellington Inn, Darley. A fresh cask ale that did the job after a day in the dales (in a car but whatever).

Cask pint in The Fleece, Otley Yorkshire on 8th April 2017. Light golden pour, white topping. Light floral nose, subtle flavoured and nicely balanced with just about enough malty sweetness to keep my sweet tooth interested.

Cask at Hole in the Wall, Darlington. Golden amber colour, white foam head and light malty earthy aroma. Taste is malt, biscuit, citric, hay with some grassy bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK.

Tried at the Threehorseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a white creamy head. After the last beer it had a very light aroma and taste, but citrus and floral aromas were there. Taste citrus bittersweet.
