I thought I've had this one before, turns out I had the DryHop version. This one is still pretty fantastic, nice easy drinking black IPA with notes of chocolate and a moderate bitterness. Would have again!

A clear brown ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, light chocolate malt with leads of resinous and piney floral c-hops, grapefruit, very nice. In mouth, a good bitter chocolate with good coffee notes and floral citrusy hops, burned toasts, very nice. On tap at Dryhop Brewers.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney chocolate aroma. Roasted malty piney hoppy chocolate flavor. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy chocolate finish.

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. As dark as brown gets in the glass with a big lasting and nicely lacing brown top. Lovely aroma, notify roasted but lots of grassy freshness. Some chocolate also present here. That goes on in the taste as well. Really grassy fresh, lots of minerals and green hops. The chocolate is milky and gentle and it also has a trace of something almost herbal. Ends really burned and roasted. Tasty stuff! 02.05.2013

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a small large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, roasted, grapefruit - citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130501]

[5/1/13] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Dark brown to black with a big beige head. Great hoppy aroma, citric and slightly piney. Flavor has some roastiness and nice grapefruity and piney hops. Medium-bodied. Very good stuff.
