Appearance is fairly clear and golden, a one finger white bubbly head. Orange peel and summer fruit aromas. Taste is hop resin, bitter hops, pine, lemon undertones. Very bitter finish. Tastes stronger than 3.9%. Good.

Cask at the brewery. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nice floral lavander, slightly soapy, pollen and orange. Flavour is clean base malt, aggressive hop bitterness that lingers in the back of the throat. Some nice floral hop notes but the IBU levels mean that it isn’t that sessionable. Decent cask condition, low carbonation, slightly grainy in the finish.

3.9% cask handpull. Deepish gold in colour. Thin white head. Leafy hoppy aroma. Some toffe in the body. Good hop. As the brewer said he was going for a 6% american ipa style at a lower abv and frankly he has done it. That is a damn fine hoppy session beer. The bitterness and hops grow on the finish. Its great. 4.0/5
