This barrel-aged imperial stout is in honour of the night two of our standout dark beers first met. After 13 months maturing in Port Wine barrels, Original Sin and Konrad's stout were united to create a symphony of dark chocolate, velvety cacao, ripe cherries, and whispers of oak, all wrapped in a beautifully smooth body.

Bottle, 375ml. Dark brown, unclear, small beige head. Lightly oily. Dark chocolate, nuttyness, toffee, alcohol, booze, vinous notes and cocoa. Wood notes and cherry hints. Full body, smooth, warming and gently carbonated. Roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolate, alcohol, boozyness and vinous notes. Some berries, nuts and wood. Lasting finish. Quite delicious this one. 250314

Bottle. Color: Almost black, thin brown head. Aroma: Dark malt, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, some oak wood and Port. Taste: Dark malt and roasted malt, sweetish Port, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, some oak wood and vanilla, hints of nuts. Full body, low carbonation. Medium to over medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Smooth, bit creamy mouthfeel, Wow! Great slow sipper!

Delt med K-O på Vesterbotn etter bursdagsfeiring. Kullsort. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum. (Høy kvelling). Aroma av røstet malt & sjokoladekake. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken søt. Kirsebær. Sjokolade. Lett tørr avslutning. Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Ble i søteste laget.
