A full-flavoured, golden coloured ale; combines hoppy flavour with Fair Trade honey. It has a perfumed aroma and a long smooth finish.

Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Gold, lasting white head. Good condition. Honey really shines through. Gives it some sweetness, but keeps its balance. I liked it very much. Good honey and flavour balanced by hop. Good.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Very average and uninteresting. Pale gold with a thin white head; no noticeable aroma; lemon and lime flavours over a watery grainy base; little in the way of a finish. No sign of any honey.
