Cask @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Bevuta molto anni fa da Le Bon Bock. Bruna, schiuma avorio media. Al naso note di malti tostati, caffè, lievi sentori di erba tagliata. In bocca è delicata, abboccata all'attacco con finale caffettoso leggermente amaro e sapido. Corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione soft. Molto buona!

Cask @ Wenlock Arms, Hoxton, London N1. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some salty hints. Has a fruity malty chocoalte and caramel finish.

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2008. Black, dark brown edges. Nice coffee-ish stout, roasty, really quite good for a Shep’s beer, no real Shep’s yeast. Not a lot of oyster, bit of fullness and richness on end maybe. It’s reasonably light in the body. Tasty though.
