Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Copper colour with lasting beige head. Looks in good condition. It’s an ok bitter, just doesn’t do anything special. Aroma of stone/mineral and hop and subtle fruit salad, which is fine. Solid enough in mouth. Fruit salad and moderate hop on finish. Not as yeasty as some Hydes beers. Decent fruit salady bitter.

Cask conditioned at The Barley Mow, Clifton Hampden, Oxon on the 4th leg of the Thames Tipple, this time Oxford to Wallingford 15-03-08 Poured hazy light amber with a thin white head. Malt on the nose, tasted citrusy but with no real bitternes, some residual sweetness ok but maybe a bit tired.
