Cask conditioned at The Golden Lion, York. Served at correct temperature. ABV was 5.5%. Deep golden colour, creamy head. Pleasant malty aroma, hints of malt vinegar and fruity hops. Fairly rich and smooth flavour, well balanced between the malts and hops.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. First beer of the Reading BF on Thursday with Duff and Chris_O. Gold colour with bubbly white head. Good grapefruity hoppy astringent aroma. Very pleasant, great sharp grapefruit. Really very good. Quite dry. Very good condition.
