Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Dark amber to brown color, clean. Simple aroma. Fresh taste, with some malt, caramel, sweetness if possible. Ends with a vague earthy hopping, but the bitterness is strong enough and lasting. Pleasant.

Cask handpull at Richard John Blackler, JDW, Liverpool. Amber/copper colour with lasting beige head. Served too cold. Yeast, and some hop aroma. Very earthy, bit of Burton style yeast aroma. Fair juiciness in mouth. Dry earthy finish. Bit of citrus tingle. Not mad on the eggy aroma. Rest of beer is ok though, bit of lemon on finish.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A deep red beer with a thin dark beige head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of berries, and the flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of berries, and a light bitter finish, but the body is a bit thin.

Cask conditioned at The Back of Beyond, Reading (JDW). Dark reddish brown with a small cream head. I too expected this to be a "winter warmer" type beer, rather than a Valentine’s special. Rather lacking in aroma; rather hollow in the mouth, quite malty, but something seemed to be missing; slighty sweet to finish.
