Bottle 500ml.[ Bottle # 000022 ]. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dark roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130405]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Bottle # 22. Pours a cloudy deep brown with a reddish hue and a beige head. Sweet roast and licorice in the nose. Rich body, sweet roast and again licorice, prunes and dates. Very rustic, very old-school and lovely indeed. Bottom fermented? 060413

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, candy and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Very sweet finish. 050413

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, vanilla, molasses, chocolate and hops. Quite sweet.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, soy sauce, and roasted malt.

Bottle, 10.0%. Roasted aroma, a little boozy. Clear almost black colour. Sweet and caramelly flavour, a little bonbon. Warming alcohol finish, brown sugar and a hint of vanilla. On the sweet side, but balanced by a good alcohol note.

50 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth toasted malty and dense dark malty. Toasted malty, vanilla and dark rich chocolate. Light alcohol note. Smooth toasted dark malty. Lingering dark malty and dark chocolate.
