(Cask at Philharmonic, Liverpool, 25 July) Colour is amber with a foamy disappearing head. Nose is fruity with citrus (grapefruit and mandarin). Taste is fruity and hoppy with grapefruit and mandarin. A bit sweet, with a balanced flowery, hoppy finish. Nice beer.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Hazy, pale gold, with thin white head. Dusty soapy hop aroma. Some creaminess in mouth. I expected more of a pronounced Liberty hop flavour. Odd beer. Malt needs to be better, but will be a good summer beer.
